Iglesia de San Constantino y Santa Elena (Caracas)

Church of St. Constantine and St. Helena, located in Caracas. It was donated by the Orthodox Church in Venezuela and the Government of Romania to the Orthodox community reside in the capital of Venezuela. The land for the building was sold by the municipality. There are only 15 places of worship of its kind in the world and only two are outside Romania. It was built by craftsmen from the province of Maramunes, Transylvania, was assembled without nails or metal objects in its structure and is adorned with the neo-Byzantine religious paintings. The bell tower rises over 30 meters. All the pieces of wood to the roofs and walls, brought from Romania, according to sacred traditions to avoid similarities with the hardware and martyrdom of crucifixion.
