The Chaguaramas (Roystonea oleracea) is a species of palm. Originating in the Lesser Antilles and northern South America. Is a plant of great size, up to 40 m high and much appreciated by its great ornamental value and that it has been cultivated in many countries. Individuals of this species are those that are taller and larger diameter caulinar the genre.

Hacienda Sta. Teresa III

Since the early sixteenth century sugar cane was grown in the fertile valleys of Aragua. And it was there, in the heart of Venezuela, where the Conde de Tovar y Blanco in 1796 founded the Hacienda Santa Teresa.
